Like Mick said, having poor financial management when you are starting with the business is a pretty common thing. The problem arises when you don’t realise what’s the issue exactly. When it comes to our example, we simply didn’t possess the right set of organisational skills, which then led to general chaos in the company. Although we count as a small-sized business, we have a good reputation and can finish a lot of work in a short time. But once the mess prevailed, we couldn’t function as a team anymore. Thanks to Mick and the people around him, we had the chance to understand what our biggest mistakes were and how to overcome them. I have to say I was a bit suspicious in the beginning, but Mick is a guy who knows the core values of our business well and is willing to speak about them.

You always hear how a work overload can be bad for the business, but I honestly didn’t think that could happen to us. I could easily say that each of our team members is a hard-working and very dedicated individual, so we thought that we could handle all the excessive work we gladly accepted. And then, it all fell apart – mistakes after mistake, and the trust we had among the clients began to fade away. I don’t know if everyone in the program felt this way, but Mick opened my eyes and pointed out all the weakest spots in our business plan. As soon as we implemented the methods he recommended, we got back on the tracks almost instantly. Many thanks from the whole team, you guys truly helped us.
